| Single
Direction Remote Slide Advance System.
For the remote triggering of Computer Slide Presentations, this integrated
cueing system allows remote advancement via wired or RF interfacing.
This
is a scalable system which allows a technical operator to control a slide presentation in the traditional
manner but to hand over control to the presenter at the appropriate time, and to redeem
control at a later time, such as at the end of the presentation. Or if technical
difficulties occur during a show the technician can disallow the presenter's persistent
cueing, fix the problem, and then allow the presentation to resume. The technician is then
in a position to troubleshoot anywhere in the room, and no longer needs to hover with
their finger over a slide advance key.
What
the presenter encounters is a button fixed to the side of a lectern...or several buttons at
several lecterns. If preferred they can employ an RF remote button with a built in laser
pointer so they can wander around talking into a lapel mic and pointing at things. They
can rest assured that all of these buttons run back to the same central hub,
can be used
together or separately, and clicking any button will yield similar results.
What
the technician gets is a control system that is clear, reliable, adaptable and
straightforward in set-up and operation.
