dual direction remote slide advance system

For the remote triggering of Computer Slide Presentations. As the Master Station or Hub of the system, the Cue King Rev1 features audible and visual cues, intercom interfacing, audio line out,  2 input channels and 3 Computer triggering output channels.

The 2 input channels can be activated individually to receive commands from lectern buttons or RevRadio RF Receivers, which may alternatively be daisy-chained on the same mic cable run. Forward and reverse test buttons on the front panel may be used as an aid during set up or as a master override during a show. The 3 output channels connect to USB Mighty Rat interfaces, which trigger left and right arrow keyboard functions on the computers they are connected to. One Mighty Rat is required per Computer, and 6 may be connected at one time (purchased separately).

Having 2 input channels is useful where presenters alternate between lecterns and it is desired that the unused lectern button be isolated, or where it is desired that the RF indicator system should be muted when not in use, in accordance with standard RF device management. The Rev1 can enable or disable the item concerned, via the press of a switch.

The technical operator can also choose to enable or disable any of the 3 outputs channels at any time.

Typical use of the Cue King would be the control of  main and backup computers, however the 3 outputs may be Y-split to allow the simultaneous control of up to 6 computers for multi screened presentations.

A button press also produces an audible and visual operator cue which is user adjustable. The visual cue is via flashing high brightness LEDs: Green=Forward, Red=Reverse.

The user may select to hear the audio tone via internal speaker, headphones, local coms headset, or audio line out to the whole coms loop. A steady tone indicates Forward, and a broken tone indicates Reverse. Frequency and duration are operator adjustable, but a typical sample tone is included here. You will need to have Java enabled in your browser.

The front panel also includes a 'Forward Only' switch, which when activated causes the unit to operate only in the forward direction.
