Reversing
RF Computer Slide Cue System UHF
System
with 16 coded user channels on 433.92MHz,
designed for high reliability over long range. This unit can be used as a trigger for the
Cue King, and also in stand-alone applications. Receiver features local
Computer trigger output (requires Mighty Rat USB).
Transmitter features Laser Pointer and Forward/Reverse/Battery Status
Indicator LED.
This
combo features the TXREV transmitter and the RXREV receiver, which enables
the forward and reverse control of computer slide presentations via Radio
UHF. They operate
on 433.92 MHz and communicate via 16
coded channels
selectable via rotary dil switches.
The
TXREV transmitter is powered by a 9volt battery which is easily accessible, and a
coloured led tells you when its time for a new one. It is only necessary
to change batteries around once a year. A laser pointer is
built in, for added convenience.
The RXREV receiver
features true diversity architecture, with switchable squelch for
adjustable screening of RF
interference, and increased encryption for better security. An output enable switch allows the operator to mute all
outputs when not in use. Housed in an attractive and robust powdercoated
aluminium enclosure.
The
RevRadio boasts a
reliable no-dropout range of at least 30 metres (100feet), even with transmitter
grounded against
body or lectern top. In line-of-sight
conditions with the TX1 held away from the body this no-dropout zone
increases to 50 metres (165 feet). The RevRadio system has been tested at over 4 times these
distances, but the figures quoted are the distances over which failure
cannot be induced, at least not by us.
For
greater coverage it is recommended that more RXREV units be looped together
at spacings of around 30 metres (100 feet) and
operated on the same channel.
It is also recommended that the minimum distance for transmission not be less
than 2 Metres (6.5 feet), because of the high gain of the RXREV front end.
When
used with the Cue King, the RXREV connects to the same mic
cable run as the lectern buttons, and draws its power supply from this
cable, so the RXREV may be located remotely from the Cue King, which simply sees
it as another lectern button.
The
RXREV may also be used as a stand alone device, powered by a plugpack
(purchased separately). It
has its own local Mighty Rat trigger output, so this configuration would be
ideal for a single computer at the lectern in a small conference room.
